We offer West Coast Swing group classes on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. These are drop-in classes; singles and couples are welcome. We rotate partners frequently so that everyone can experience a variety of leads and follows. Regardless of gender identity, you can choose to lead, follow, or switch between roles. The Tuesday class is designed for dancers who are new to West Coast Swing and will cover basic 6-count and 8-count patterns with variations. The Wednesday night class consists of a 30-minute warmup that focuses on stretching, balance, and core strength and a 60-minute intermediate-level class that explores ways to extend and/or combine the basic patterns into more complex amalgamations. Dancers are invited to stay after class until 10 PM for a guided practice. We will be available to provide feedback and formal/informal instruction on specific skills of interest. If you are uncertain which class is right for you, please come to the Tuesday night class first.
